Central Action Continues |

MSU continues Central division play
with two games against division rivals Central Michigan
University and University of Michigan. Four points for
Central division standings and two points for GMHL standings are
on the line in games that will have tremendous implications for
divisional standings.

Spartan
Sophomore Jay Birko notched a goal and two
assists as the Spartans defeated University
of Michigan Flint by a score of 15 to 3.
Jay was named
most valuable player for the game, played on
Saturday, December 1, 2007. |

MSU defenseman Jeff Marley (#15) scored at 2:49 of the
first overtime period to lift the Spartans to their second national
championship in three years. MSU and Davenport University traded
goals during regulation, with MSU on top in OT by a score of
5-4.
Spartan goaltender Justin Sand (#29)
was named tournament MVP.
The Spartans thank all their fans
and supporters during the season for all their help throughout
the year.
